Lush Spring Wedding at Lacuna Lofts

I was so excited when my friend Jereme found the love of his life and got engaged to Marissa. I was even more excited when they entrusted me to be their wedding planner! Their love story goes a little something like this:

Girl moves to Chicago. Girl’s co-worker sets up a dating app profile. Girl meets boy. Girl and Boy fall in love.

Jereme and Marissa opted for full-service wedding planning and design where I helped them with everything from finding a venue, and securing the rest of their vendors, to designing the actual look and feel of their wedding.

The couple really wanted a venue that said “Chicago”. After all it’s the where the met, fell in love, and where their relationship blossomed. Lacuna Lofts was the perfect venue: located in one of their favorite Chicago neighborhoods, Pilsen, artistic, and unique. The Lacuna Lofts complimented the lush florals, with touches of whites, dusty pinks, and greens, federal blue linen, and accents of gold.

One of the best things about Jereme and Marissa’s wedding: their wedding party! Each of them had 10 attendants on their side but what was unique is the relationship the couple had with them. Each and every bridesmaid and groomsmen where there to support and make sure that Jereme and Marissa had a memorable day.

After tying the knot, Jereme and Marissa ‘s reception was full of fun, laughs, and good vibes, surrounded by their friends and loved ones.
