Chic Chicago Wedding at Epiphany Center For the Arts

I was honored when Heather, sorority sister and corporate event professional, asked me to coordinate her big day! One of my favorite things about Heather & Charlie was their authenticity. They stayed true to their vision and the kind of wedding they wanted to have from beginning to end.

Charlie and Heather share a love of music and the arts and wanted to center that in their wedding. When looking for a venue they really wanted to find something non-traditional. Epiphany Center For the Arts was the perfect location. Formerly known as the Church of The Epiphany, this historic church turned artistic hub was unique, creative, with just a touch of tradition that the couple was looking for.

The ceremony took place in the Epiphany Hall in front of a stunningly preserved mosaic mural. For the reception, the couple took advantage of the built in lighting and sound system, completely transforming the space from traditional to modern and chic. One of my favorite elements was the signature color: HOT PINK! Heather used her creative eye to incorporate the signature color in ways that were fun and tasteful.

My other favorite element: the music! Charlie and Heather were very intentional with choosing a DJ that would be able to lean into their AMAZING taste in music. After dinner, DJ Bryen Hall got the party going and kept guests dancing until the end of the night. It was like the Charlie & Heather music festival!
